HAPPY EASTER!!!!


- Europe-tour is starting in the middle of May
- in December 01 & January 02 there will be about 30 concerts in Germany.
- in July is a production of videos for the songs in the new album
- they're planning open-air concerts for summer 2002
- the Kelly's wanna try to release their new album in America, South America and Asia
- since 2 weeks they're recording the new album in France and they already have 5 songs.

Thanks to Mandy and Kellylove club 

- Kathy is in 22nd place in charts. They will inform you about the Party for 500 registered fans in her official page and in a newsletter.

- Johnny will be a father soon. The baby is coming in August! The mom is Maite Itoiz, the daughter of Carlos Itoiz - one of music teachers of the Kellys. Congratulations.

KIRA IS PREGNANT - she is in 6th month.
They say that it's a boy. Angelo (19) will be a father soon.
They've been together 4 years. And they are engaged since January 2000.

Paddy's solo album has been finished. Maybe soon it will be released.

Kathy Kelly says: Yes, at end summer / beginning of autumn I go on a tour.

Kathy Kelly says: I have to watch out, do some sport (each day one hour). And then I led a regular life. I made no diet. It is an internal adjustment and then it goes automatically.

Kathy Kelly says: I did not find that so bad, as the press always said it. There are about 30-40 people, which I already could tell their names.

Kathy Kelly says: I make exercises with my voice. My dream was doing classical music. I studied violin and more, I trainee my voice.

Kathy Kelly says: I do not know yet, I have however a notion, where. But I say yet, otherwise the building is not run over.

Kathy Kelly says: Yes, but that is nowadays unrealistic. The contact with the people that we had was beautiful.

Kathy Kelly says: It was the idea of a producer, who said, my voice would fit well to it.

Where are the Kellys? Is it the end of the Kelly Family - the Irish success band?
  Six of the nine children go on, three doesn't want to sing anymore. It was once a family... nine children, a father and they loved each other very much. They lived in a beautiful castle, wore multicolored dresses and sang many songs of love, of angels and a beautiful sound of nature. Thanks of the love of many millions people this family became very dear and rich. The wonderful Kelly Family. Unfortunately the wonder does not last eternally and the Kellys has changed. The Castle Gymnich next to Bonn, where they live, is almost empty. The Kellys one by one leave it. Only Barby (250, Jimmy (30) and Paddy (23) still live with their father Dan (70).

In April, after two-years break, a new album of the Kelly Family will be produced. Instead of the nine however only six will go into the studio: Johnny (33), Barby and Kathy (37) won't sing with the family. The end of the Kellys? The famous Kelly-look is also passee. What is actually the matter with the Kellys? Last week in Cologne "BUNTE" met with Patricia (31) and her brother Joey Kelly (28). The two go their own ways: Patricia had married and lives with her Russian friend Denis S. in the last year in a house at the outskirts of a town of Cologne. And Joey created his own small Kelly family with friend Tanja Niethen (26) and a son 8 months old.

Is the end of the Kelly Family approaching? 
Joey: No. For 25 years we are The Kelly Family. And it has not changed.

It was called in former times, it carries rags. You also see it in such a way?
Joey: We could not afford expensive things. We design ourselves and sew the clothes.
Patricia: Out image could look like it. There was a time when we were a Hippy family. Today were are rather a trendsetter family.
 Joey: I carry suits since four and one-half year. Stocks field or Armani. That is a development, which one goes through.
Patricia: I have also many designer things. I like gladly Prada, but that is terribly expensive. It is however not like that that we want to structure a new image. That was a natural development.

Are you still the Kelly Family, if it only to second elevator control occur?
Patricia: We are not ready to be victims of our own image. We develop quite normally like the life. One can never replace Johnny, Barby and Kathy, but the life continues. 

Kathy took last year off with son Sean (8) from the castle, in March she'll release her second solo album "the morning of my life? Her "Austritt" is a surprise. Because none was as much into the family merged as her - both musical and producer. Because when 1982 the mother of their brothers and sisters died, Kathy took over the role of the back-up mother with 19 years. 

With Kathy one has the feeling that she dissociates herself from the family. 
Patricia: There is a band and a family. Kathy is 37 and so many years she has made music. And she is a back-up a mother for us... 
Joey: That is false. Perhaps for smaller brothers and sisters. For me Kathy was never a mother.

Do you understand Kathy's decision? 
Patricia: Yes. That is okay. 
Joey: With us is like that: we all do the things that we want to do. None force you to do anything.

Your father is considered however as a Tyrann. 
Patricia: My father can be very dominant, but he has also condemns good side. We would not be the one we are today without him, which we are today. We would be any Deppen.

Joey said in a interview that there is a customer who offered the Kellys over 20 million DM for Gymnich. In April they'll go to studio and then there will be the video clips and also a tour in Europe (exclude Austria and Germany)

 Four months long it was quiet around the Kelly Family. But now the events estimate themselves innerhlab one week: Paddy & CO could be pleased about the wedding of their sister Patricia, now they meet a hard impact! Kathy left the family after her divorce and she will no be longer go to the tour with the Kellys nor sing in the new album.

Patricia married: Civilly Patricia has already taken last year in 29.08.00 with Dennis.
Now she hes Marry Dennis for second time in La Bourgogne (Southern France), but this time was a chirch wedding. Only family and closed friends we invited at the cerebrate. Now the "love birds" need only a baby to be full happy.

Kathy is divorced: Already in passed November the 38-years-old is single after ten years marriage with Vincent. After the separation Kathy left the family place - Schloss Gymnich and she lives with Sean (8) in Cologne.

Kathy separates from the Kellys: She was the head of the Kelly Family and the responsibility for her eight brothers for many years. Now Kathy stepped out of the Kellys and she wants to make solo career. On 26 March her second album will be released. The tittle is "Morning Of My Life", the promote single is called "Save me in the morning". 24th March Kathy is singing live in "Big Brother Show". Kathy presents in a completely new Look - she has lost 12 kg and wears Design clothes now.

New Kelly Family album: They will in studio for two months since March to creat a new album, which might be released in late summer. The titles and numbers of the songs are still top-secret. There will be a long tour in Germany in autumn with the new album, but without Kathy. .

Second album of Kathy is called "Morning of my life". It has nothing common with the Kelly Family.

Unfortunately with this album Kathy has decided to not come back to the band. The rest of the Kellys are very displeased with her desicion. (Maybe they will convence her to come back?)

In Utrecht the Kellys sang 'Ares Qui' with Nippy Noya - their music teacher of congas! In the book 1988 - 1998 you can see him teaching Angelo to play congas, but our super drummer was sleeping :))

On MTV's site u can choose which videos they play & even write our comment on the songs & they might read it on the chart-show...I don't think I've ever seen a Kelly-video on MTV, so if u have some extra time visit their site & vote for Kellys! U can vote as many times u want!>
